Aluz Collection
This group owns and operates a portfolio of Boutique Hotels
Aluz Collection currently manages “Hacienda de San Rafael”, a private hotel situated halfway between Seville and Jerez overlooking the Andalucian plains. This 18th Century building is comprised of eleven deluxe rooms & three casita suites set in six hectares of professionally landscaped gardens.
Situated in the historic city of Seville, “Corral Del Rey” are a series of impressive 17th and 18th century “Casa Palacios” that have been meticulously restored and converted into a small private luxury boutique hotel, offering chic accommodation with a relaxed roof top bar and comfortable living rooms.
The story of Aluz
The cross-cultural family behind Aluz collection is open-minded, well-travelled and as quintessentially English as they are genuinely Spanish. Spanish ingredients, craftsmanship, traditions and stories have been passed down through generations to create an entirely fresh approach to hospitality. Here in Spanish bullfighting country, the decades-old stirrups on the wall above the fireplace in the sitting room of the Hacienda are a reminder of grandfather Antonio Mora-Figueroa who won Jerez's annual Horseman Gold award too many times to count. The brand logo is Antonio’s original branding iron. There’s a black-and-white snapshot of him with daughter Kuky and Princess Anne at a horse event in Wembley, from the 70´s. There are antique wooden yokes on the wall of the veranda, a display of well-used cobbler’s tools in the drawing room – everything at the Hacienda has a story to tell.
